Lovely note from Trina in the morning ♥ |
It was a wonderful day cos I finally fulfilled my wish of eating at the taco bus & ice cream shop beside it!:D Everyone had been raving about these 2 shops and I didn't managed to try them the last time I passed by after whitewater rafting at gallatin. The taco bus's mexican food didnt let me down, and I really enjoyed my ice cream!:D
tacos:D
my beef burritos :D
View from the taco bus: A small stall selling fresh fruits, pies, and popcorns!
Candy shop with homemade chocolates, fudge, taffy :)
My long awaited ice cream!
This shop is reallly good! I kinda feel that I like the homemade ice creams here much better than any i've eaten before:P How you go about ordering is to first choose chocolate or vanilla base, then choose the flavour (though it'll be hard to decide cos you'll be spoilt for choice:P). After that they'll mix the 2 together with a special machine!
This is the machine
My pumpkin pie ice cream which was extremely satisfying:D
And here's another homemade ice cream shop where i bought my Chai Tea ice cream the previous time. It's pretty good too!
Another highlight of the day: watching Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at Playmill!
This was really one unique experience that I enjoyed thoroughly. Didn't plan to watch initially cos I thought we wouldn't have time for both taco bus + ice cream and the play. But we reached earlier than expected and we had one and a half hrs to eat/walk arnd before the play starts at 6pm. It was the earlier show so I managed to buy my tix at will call & student rate for $10. It was such a deal cos the others paid $21 for it! Basically it's a very small theatre and the actors all double up as ushers, prop movers etc. The show was really funny and I love how they sing, act and dance at the same time! The intermission was especially special when the actors all came up with trays of drinks, ice cream, popcorns, homemade fudge, calling out like peddlers on the streets!
