At Taoyuan Airport

Hi everyone! my blog's finally up! as you can see from below i wanted to blog long ago when i was waiting for my transit flight in Taipei, but i had problems with the layout of the blog, and after that i was pretty much on the go and then settling down so was unable to do so until now! sorry for the wait! below's what i wrote back in Taipei & the continuation on Seattle!

Yay thank God for a place with wifi! you'd really appreciate singapore's extensive wireless connections in places like this. just found a place to settle down - at a foodcourt we found after exploring the airport for so long. & thank God for the newly revamped T2, if not we would be stuck with just rows of seats for 5 hours.

alright i shall be chop chop & upload some pics! efficiency max:D (im kinda lazy to edit though:P)

the flight was delayed due to a thunderstorm, which stopped soon after!
setting off!
love the beautiful clouds whenever im on the plane!
-55 deg celcius outside

The 10 hrs flight from Taipei to seattle was slightly uncomfortable cos the seats were rather squeezy and it was really cold - wrapped myself up in the blanket but it was still freezing. Was forced to sleep as they switched off all the lights and i was so afraid i would get jet lag since it would be 7pm at night in Seattle by the time we arrive but 9am in Singapore.

Upon arrival in Seattle we took the Link Light Rail from SeaTac/Airport to the last station Sealake at Downtown Seattle where our hostel was located. It was freaking cold at 8 deg the moment i stepped out of the airport with just a camisole and chiffon top - just the start of all the coldness that I could never imagine back in sunny Singapore. The view was really nice from the rail. The sun was about to set, painting the sky with a lavender to orange tint that looks exactly like what an art teacher used to teach me to colour.

It was pretty cold when we had to navigate our way to the hostel which was a short walk away. guessed I just wasnt used to all the cold. Green Tortise's really a nice hostel with a great location! Anw my poor luggage is a lil spoilt on its first day out alr.. hope it will still serve me well! The hostel is better than I expected with free wifi, lotsa plugs, nice bed with curtains for privacy & reading lamp, and we chose 4 to a room. Met a nice girl from japan & loveee the free wifi! I realised i'm really quite reliant on the laptop. give 4 bme wifi, charger, plug and i can stay there for hours:P

Alright that's the end of my first post! Gotta rush for work now! Will be back with more pictures of Downtown Seattle & more! Meanwhile i have to figure out how to insert portrait photos properly...
