My first off-day :D
Extremely blessed and grateful to have Barbara to drive us all the way to Tower Fall, which was at the other end of where we were in Yellowstone. It was a 7 hrs drive there and back, which must have been really tiring for our dear driver! We started the day early at 8am. It was a whole lot of fun seeing all the animals up close, esp the bisons. It seemed to be a bison day out! They were all around. And then there were black bears, canada geese, coyote, pronghorn, deers... stopped by along the way to take pictures of the wildlife. Some were too far away and we had to use binoculars to see them. There were many other people on the way with huge binoculars and telephoto lens as well. Thank God for the great weather too!
Our first adventure of the day - bisons charging towards our car...
& then the scramble to reverse the car!

More bisons and their calfs

A lil hard to see but these are the canada geese

Bear-spotting
Here's a mother bear. Didn't had a chance to take a photo of her 2 cubs which were hanging high up on the tree cos the ranger didn't allow cars to stop
Our destination: Tower Fall
We saw the waterfall from the overlook but I read somewhere that it was more beautiful at the base.
If you look closely you can see a rainbow!
Stopped over here for lunch too! Check out our lunch pack :)
On our way back
You sick of bisons already? :P

Lovely surprise to end the day!
This black bear came tumbling down the hill on our left while we're driving back (ya serious). Thank God Barbara drove slowly so we managed to stopped in time. Well the bear stood up looking a lil shocked and confused, then walked aimlessly for a moment, crossed the street, and hence this closed-up shots when it went really near the car :)
