On our way to Yellowstone

080512 Tuesday

We had a yellowstone bus to pick up our luggage while we took a van to get our social security done. Stopped by Burger Kings for breakfast and had 20 mins at Target. Bought a TheNorthFace jacket at the shop beside Target which turned out to be a very very good buy! I wear it everyday! Well, needless to say, the view was breathtaking along the way!

 Breakfast
 At the social security office
 School bus :P

Upon reaching Yellowstone, we went to the HR office, collected our uniforms+ID cards and made our way to Mammoth for lunch and orientation. Mammoth Hot Springs is one of the 7 villages in Yellowstone. Yellowstone is really big and spread over 3 states. It is 10 times the size of Singapore! There weren't really visitors yet so many animals came out and were really up close!

First lunch at Yellowstone :P Food here is quite good I would say!

After lunch, we left for Old Faithful, which is the village I would live and work at. It was quite a long drive away! The snow was melting, and the lakes were defrosting, we even saw a black bear along the way!

Alright, till next time! :)

  1. it's great to note the transport, the trees, the animals, the mountains and the clouds of Yellowstone Parks through your lenses. What I wish to see is also the faces, the expressions and the pride of these dwellers.

Ask around, what makes Yellowstone Park great? What does it mean to the American People, what's its outstanding history, how is it's geographical significance? Capture them in your photos to reflect what is deeper, in the souls, beyond the surfaces, that makes us ponder and emulate the greatness of the American true spirits!

    You are indeed richly blessed!

With Love, Dennis T G Tan
