Finally, off to Crater Lake :D
Crater Lake was one of our choices when we were choosing where to work in the US. But we ultimately chose Yellowstone cos it was much bigger and had a wider variety of attractions and things to do. Never once regretted our choice, but we were glad to finally get a chance to see this beautiful lake too :)

Came across this gorgeous place when the bus driver stopped for a break

I could just build a house here by the seaside!
Our bus drove past this place and we saw all these elks
Lovely photo by Jon :)

Stopped by Trees of Mystery but didn't go in

Mexican food for lunch:D

Fishing

And here we are at Crater Lake :D
Thank God for bright blue skies after so many cloudy days!
Crater Lake was formed when Mt Mazama erupted 7,700 years ago, leaving a deep basin in the place the peak once stood. Centuries of rain and snow then filled this caldera lake, its deep blue colour and clarity unmatched. The lake is about 9.7km at its widest and 592 metres at the deepest point.
Wished I had photoshop/wideangle lens to capture a full shot of the whole lake, but here's what I managed
