Vegas nights

050712 & 090712 Thursday & Monday

Nights in Vegas were unbelievably hot at over thirty deg celcius. But that's way better than daytimes where the temperature can be as high as 46 deg. The heat's the only thing that reminds us that we are standing right in the middle of a desert. Vegas is a place where the nights are still young with the crowds mostly coming out at night when the weather is slightly cooler.

where Orchard Ion got its inspiration; uncanny resemblance!
Bellagio and its grand water fountain that goes off every 15 mins
Paris in Vegas

At Wynn, a chinese-themed luxurious hotel
High-class hotels have brightly lit casinos:P

At Venetian
Night & Day within a matter of metres :P

What I'll remember about Vegas besides the heat: walking so much cos the traffics simply moving at sloth speed, weaving in and out of the crowd rushing to catch Phantom and then once again for Spiderman (this was especially crazy, we walked so fast & so far!!!)

Don't think I'll visit Vegas again. On hindsight, not even the outlet malls were worth a trip to Vegas, since they didn't really carry the brands I like. The only reason we hung around Vegas for several days was because it was the 'basecamp' for our tours. Unless you're really into gambling/clubbing/p___, this is a place which you only have to see once, just to get a feel of the desert city.
